Selecting the Tree Structure |

When selecting the tree structure to be shared, you can choose between sharing the entire structure of the data source ("unrestricted" option) or only sharing individual sections of the structure by specifying start fields.
"Unrestricted" option: This option is for sharing the entire tree structure in the data source.
"Start field selection" option: This option allows you to specify a particular start field in the tree structure. The section of the tree structure to be shared always refers to the entire subsidiary structure on the right of the selected start field, right down to the end fields. It is not possible to define smaller parts of a tree structure (from one field to another field) as a section to be shared.
With the buttons for "add start field from the tree structure", "remove unused start fields" and "update data source cache", you can define or delete the desired sections of the tree structure.
When you set the "start field selection" option and click "Display the tree structure to add start fields", the entire tree structure of the selected data source appears.
In the tree structure, select the desired field and add it to the field list either by double-click or by clicking the "Add the selected start field" button.
The field path and field ID (handle number) are then shown. You can alternatively use the field ID search function to select a particular field. Enter the field ID in the search box and press Enter.
To delete existing start fields, click the "remove unused start fields" button. In the dialogue, select the fields to be deleted and click "OK".
Click "Next" to proceed to the next step.
