The history function enables you to go back to modules and functions which you used previously and thereby makes it easier to navigate within the CP-Suite. Your history is saved automatically as soon as you switch from one module to another or from one function to the next.
Module history To open the module history, hold the left-hand Ctrl key and hit the right-hand Ctrl key. This keyboard shortcut can be changed in the CP-Suite Settings.
The previously used modules are displayed in a small window. At the top you will see the name of the module which is currently selected in the history. A larger view of the currently selected module in the history appears in the background. You can now either move around using the mouse cursor or press the right-hand Ctrl key again to mark the next module in the list. As soon as you release the left-hand Ctrl button, you will find yourself back in the selected module with the function you were using as you left it.
Function history The function history is opened by holding the Ctrl key and hitting the Tab key. This keyboard shortcut can be changed in the CP-Suite Settings. That is also where you can specify the maximum number of entries.
On the left you can see the functions used and their module icons, and a preview of the function is shown on the right with the name of the module and the data source. You can now either move around using the mouse cursor or press the Tab key again to mark the next entry in the list. As soon as you release the Ctrl key, you will find yourself back in the selected function.
