You can make the following settings here:

Time range selection:

To change the data source time span, select the "shift time span by" option and set the desired time range using the "start date" parameter. To extend or shorten the time span, select "extend / shorten time span by" and set the start date and end date parameters.

Please note:

When moving or shortening the time range, the data in the part of the time span which is to be cut off will be deleted. If there are opening balances in the deleted year (data source type "CP-Finance"), these must be read in again.

Start of business year:

If the selected data source should be based on a non-calendar fiscal year, you can set any month you wish for the "start of business year" parameter.

Base time step:

For each data source, you can select whether the default time step should be days, months, periods or accounting periods.

Day:

Each business year is divided into 365 time steps.

Month:

Each business year is divided into 12 time steps (January - December).

Period:

With the "periods per year" parameter, define the number of time steps in each business year. A maximum of 60 periods in a business year is possible.

Accounting periods:

With the "periods per year" parameter, set X as the number of accounting periods. Thus, a business year consists of 12 time steps (January to December) and X accounting periods.

Please note:

Changing the base time step will delete all the data in the data source, except when switching from months to accounting periods and vice versa.
