Corporate Planner Excel Client

    

The Corporate Planner Excel Client (CP-Excel) installation adds the CP-Excel add-in to the local Microsoft Excel program. It is available as a 32-bit installation and a 64-bit installation. Always install he appropriate version of CP-Excel (32 or 64 bit) for your operating system.

 

 

System requirements:

•Microsoft Excel 2013 or above. Only locally installed versions of Microsoft Excel are supported (Please take note of the system requirements in the CP-Excel Client Installation Notes).

 

 

Installation:

Run the Setup.exe program from the [DVD]:\Setups\Clients\CP-Excel folder on the installation DVD for the 32-bit installation, or from the [DVD]:\Setups\Clients\CP-Excel x64 folder for the 64-bit installation.

 

Select the language for the installation. At the beginning of the installation, you will see a list of all the missing system prerequisites. All the required components will install automatically.

 

Please note:

You may need to restart the system following the Microsoft .NET installation.

 

 

Accept the licensing agreement for CP-Excel. In the following dialogue, select the installation options and the start mode:

 

 

"Install this application for:"

•Anyone who uses this computer (all users): CP-Excel can be used by any user who logs in to that computer.
•Only for me: CP-Excel can only be used by the user who is currently logged in.

 

"Application start mode:"

•Automatic start together with Microsoft Excel: CP-Excel will start automatically when you open Microsoft Excel.
•Manual start: You must start CP-Excel manually to use it in Microsoft Excel. This option adds a shortcut in the Windows Start menu for starting CP-Excel.

 

 

Depending on which start mode you have chosen, you can select the CP-Excel installation directory. We recommend that you apply the preset installation directory, because if you change the installation directory you will also need to change the Microsoft Office settings. Then click "Install".

 

 

Click "Finish". The CP-Excel add-in is now available in Microsoft Excel.

 

 

Installation without a local Microsoft Excel

If a local Microsoft Excel cannot be found when you install CP-Excel, CP-Excel will install with the default settings (automatic start; only for me). However, you can only use CP-Excel when Microsoft Excel has been installed on the computer.
