Microsoft SQL Server

Important!

We recommend installing the Microsoft SQL Server on a dedicated server. For details of the system requirements for Microsoft SQL Server, please refer to the Installation Notes for CP-Suite.

If you purchased the Microsoft SQL Server together with the CP-Suite, the SQL Server installation DVD will be supplied together with the CP-Suite installation DVD. The Microsoft SQL Server End User Licensing Agreement (EULA) will be sent to you with the CP-Suite licence by email. The licence details are already stored in the setup program, so you do not need to enter them during the installation.

Microsoft SQL Server Editions

The SQL Server edition that is recommended depends on the CP-Suite variant and on the application of the software (database size, structure size, calculations within the structure, number of users, etc.). Details about the supported features and limitations of each edition are available at Microsoft.com.
