Updates

   

The CP-Suite is being improved and enhanced all the time. Updates are released several times a year and made available to you through our Customer Portal. Customers with a Software Maintenance Agreement are notified about new updates by e-mail. Furthermore, when you start the CP-Suite client after an update has been released, you will see a message about the new version.

 

 

Downloading an update from the Customer Portal

You will receive your access data for the Customer Portal shortly after you register. Log into the Corporate Planning Customer Portal with these access data, and download the required installations for your CP-Suite. Extract the archive (ZIP compressed folder) to your local computer.

 

 

Installing the update

Update the CP-Server first, and then all the CP-Suite Clients. To do so, run the "Setup.exe" program in the respective folders. The Setup Wizard will identify an existing installation and perform the update automatically with the current settings. All the required components will install automatically. You may need to restart the system following the Microsoft .NET installation.

 

After a successful update, an integrity check will be carried out automatically (see CP-Setup Guide). Click "Finish" to complete the update.

 

Important:

A CP-Suite installation always consists of a server installation and a client installation. To ensure the smooth functioning of the CP-Suite, all CP-Clients must be updated after every CP-Server installation.
