Planning Across Data Streams |
![]() ![]() ![]() |
Copy or move all imported and/or plan values in a data stream in the active time span for the selected financial structure or for the entire organisation. This planning function is particularly useful when planning a new business year since it transfers large amounts of data to the planning periods and data streams of your choice.
Templates Each user can save different planning scenarios and execute them with the selected options at any time. Define all the planning parameters, click "Save", and give your template a meaningful name. All saved templates are shown in the list of available templates.
To execute a template, select the template in the list and then click "Execute". To edit or delete an existing template, click the respective button in the list of available templates.
Data streams The data stream on which the table is based is preset as the source stream. You can choose a different source stream instead, if you wish. If the table contains more than one data stream, select the desired source stream here. Then select which values (imported and/or plan values) you would like to copy or move. Select at least one target stream and specify whether the values should be regarded as imported values or as plan values.
With the "Copy/move all data streams to themselves" option, you can copy or move all data streams to themselves with the specified time offset and factor. When you select this option, the lists for selecting the source and target data streams are no longer available.
Time offset and factor Select the desired time shift and specify a factor by which to multiply the values when copying or moving them. The target time span for the plan data is displayed below the time offset and factor settings.
Options In the options you can specify whether to round the values when copying or moving them (the current settings in the full client are preset here) and whether the logic block parameters should be applied. Finally, specify whether to copy or move the values and/or cell comments.
Click "Execute" and confirm the prompt to execute the plan. Please note that this procedure cannot be undone!
