Language settings: The "Use system language" option has the current language setting of your operating system applied throughout the CP-Suite. If you wish to have CP-Suite displayed in a different language, clear the box and select a language from the list. After changing the languages setting, you will need to restart CP-Suite.
Available languages:
Display: If you select the "always display the menu" option, the main menus of all your modules will be permanently visible. You can have the main menu displayed temporarily within a module by hitting the ALT key.
With the "Display keytips on pressing the ALT key" option, all the available CP-Suite keytips will be shown when you hit the ALT key. The associated function can then be executed by pressing the appropriate keytip.
For the display of the CP-Suite and all its dialogues, the following options are available: The "theme" setting is where you can choose one of the available CP-Suite colour schemes. If you wish to have a glass effect, select this option for the dialogues or for the CP-Suite as a whole.
More: Send anonymised error reports automatically This option sends reports of all errors occurring within the CP-Suite automatically to a server designated for that purpose where they are saved.
Open most recent data source automatically On starting the CP-Suite, the last data source to be used will be opened automatically.
Save history window for future sessions With this option, the entries in the history are transferred to the next CP-Suite session. If this option is not selected, the history will be deleted at the end of the session.
By default, the keyboard shortcut for the module history is left Ctrl+right Ctrl, and the keyboard shortcut for the function history is left Ctrl+Tab. If you wish to change either of these, click the respective entry and select the preferred key assignment from the drop-down list.
You can also select the desired maximum number of history entries using the counter button.
Log Settings: The log writes processing information, warnings and errors to a text file. In the log settings you can specify which data are written to the log. These settings are made separately for each module. The following log levels are available:
In case of errors, a detailed log ('All' level) should be sent to CP-Support to help with troubleshooting.
Log Scheduler: Here you can define time rules for automatic deletion or archiving of log files. To define a time rule, click "create new rule" and adjusting the marked entries by mouse-click. If you select the "archive" option, a standard backup directory will be selected. To change the directory, click the path and set the desired storage location.
