The data source overview provides you with a list of all the data sources which are registered in the CP-Suite.

All the functions in the function bar can also be accessed from the context menu.

Data source status
Click the "Update status" button in order to retrieve the details of all the marked data sources.

The following information is supplied for each data source:
• | Name: the name of the data source. |
• | Description: the description of the data source. |
• | Type: data source of the type "Standard", "CP-Finance", "CP-Sales" or "CP-Cons". |
• | Version: database version of the data source. |
• | Validity status: "Valid": The data source is registered and ready to be used. "Invalid": The data source is registered in the CP-Suite but is not available on the SQL Server. |
• | Load status: The data source is "loaded" or "not loaded" in the application server (CP-Server). |
• | Active users: Number and names of users who have currently loaded the data source in a module of the CP-Suite at the time the status request was made. |
• | Migration status: The migration status shows whether the content of a data source has been fully migrated for use in the CP-Suite web client. |
• | Update status: The update status shows whether a data source has been updated to the current database version ("Version" column). This normally happens automatically on starting the application server (CP-Server). To update the data source manually, click the "Update data source" button. |
