"CP-Sales" Data Source Type

The following functions can be shared for a "CP-Sales" data source:

Full data source access:

This function right permits a role to edit the data sources without any access restrictions. All restrictions which may be set in the section share are cancelled by this function right. Furthermore, since this right covers every function which exists in Corporate Planner, there is no need to assign any other function rights to that role.

Data source access:

This function right permits a role to open and read the data source.

Edit data streams:

In the data source settings, new data streams can be created and existing ones deleted or renamed. The data streams shown in the data pane can also be rearranged.

Edit import:

The users in the assigned role can open the 'Import data' view in the Tools function category, execute imports and define new ones.

Edit dimensions:

This function right permits a role to use the 'Organise dimensions' function in the 'Structure editing' function category.

Edit measures:

This function right permits a role to organise the measures.

Edit public filters:

This function right permits a role to edit filters that are saved for public use.

Edit public views:

This function right permits a role to edit views that are saved for public use.

Edit public reports:

This function right permits a role to edit reports that are saved for public use.

Edit public distribution curves:

Create, edit and delete seasonal distribution curves.

Publish content:

This function right allows you to publish private content in the CP-Suite web client.

Share content:

With this function right you can share published content in the CP-Suite web client with other users.

Assign currencies:

This function right permits a role to connect available currencies and currency sets from the currency database.

Exchange rates:

This function right permits a role to transfer exchange rates from the currency database.
