"Standard" Data Source Type

The following functions can be shared for a "Standard" data source:

Full data source access:

This function right permits a role to edit the data sources without any access restrictions. All restrictions which may be set in the section share are cancelled by this function right. Furthermore, since this right covers every function which exists in Corporate Planner, there is no need to assign any other function rights to that role.

Edit data streams:

In the data source settings (Settings function category in Corporate Planner), new data streams can be created and existing ones deleted or renamed. The data streams shown in the data pane can also be rearranged.

Edit reports:

In the Reporting function, new reports can be created and existing ones displayed and edited. Please note, however, that the only reports which can be displayed and edited are those of which the content (displayed fields, data streams) has been shared for that role.

Edit loans:

The "Credit Management" function in the Corporate Planner Planning function category is available. This function is where new loans can be set up and existing ones edited.

Edit dimensions:

The "Edit dimensions" function in the Corporate Planner Structure editing function category is available. Users can open and use the "Edit dimensions" function.

Edit structure:

The "Edit structure" view in Corporate Planner is available for the users in the assigned role. They can then create a new tree structure, edit an existing one and delete fields. Structure restrictions which may be set in the section share are cancelled by this function right.

Edit import:

The users in the assigned role can open the 'Import data' view in the Tools function category, execute imports and define new ones.

Edit investments:

The "Investment Management" function in the Planning function category is available. This function is where new investments can be set up and existing ones edited.

Approve investments:

The users assigned to the role can approve or reject the stream settings of an investment and withdraw its "Approved" status. In the structures, only the data of approved investment streams are used.

Edit field properties:

This function right allows the users in the assigned role to alter field properties to a limited extent. The user is able to open the "Edit structure" view in Corporate Planner, but will find that only the "Properties" button is available. In the dialogue called up by this button, only selected field properties, such as the field name, unit, warning limits, field colours and the display format of numbers, can be specified and field notes can be stored. With this right, the user cannot change account numbers or display a different result for the active time span. Structure restrictions which may be set in the section share are cancelled by this function right. The user can view the entire tree structure of the data source.

Publish content:

This function right allows you to publish private content in the Corporate Planner Web-Client.

Share content:

With this function right you can share published content in the Corporate Planner Web-Client with other users.

Edit CP-Connectivity BI:

The users in the assigned role can use the analysis export "CP-Connectivity BI" for exporting existing analyses with high performance.

Organise multilingualism:

With this function right you can add new languages and delete, share and activate existing languages. The "Organise multilingualism" function right contains the "Edit translations" function right.

Edit translations:

With this function right you can edit translations.
