On the "Identity" page, you can make settings which relate to the user session.

 

 

 

Login update in seconds:

Time until the current user session is verified and renewed.

 

Login timeout in seconds:

Time until an inactive user session expires and the resources are released.

 

Web Client login timeout in seconds:

Time until an inactive Web Client user session expires and the resources are released.

 

Login validation interval in seconds:

Time until the login timeout is validated.

 

 

Password policies

If you activate password policies, the following password rules will come into effect for all CP-Suite users:

•minimum password length: 8
•password validity period in days: 100
•number of saved passwords: 5
•failed attempts before login timeout: 3
•failed attempts before login deactivation: 6
•timeout duration in minutes: 15

 

Defining a password:

A password must contain at least one letter, one numeral and one special character. There is no case sensitivity. In addition, the password cannot be identical to the account name.

 

 

Please note:

Password policies do not apply to Windows users! For CP-Suite system users (CP-Web, CP-BSC, users for automatic import, etc.), deactivate the password policies again in the CP-Control Center afterwards.
