In the following topics you will find an overview of the application server (CP-Server) configuration. You must license your application server in the CP-Licence Manager. The CP-Server Agent lists all the information about CP-Server and the loaded modules and indicates the status of the application server. If CP-Server is not working properly, the CP-Server Agent provides quick access to error messages and log files for troubleshooting. You can use the CP-Config program for adjusting the application server configuration.
CP-Server as a service If the CP-Server and the Microsoft SQL Server are installed on separate computers, the local system account will not usually have sufficient rights. We recommend adjusting the CP-Server service properties in the CP-Setup Guide so that the service is not run by the local system account but is run as administrator.
