Power BI Integration

If you wish to use content from Microsoft Power BI in the Web Client, first you will need to establish a connection to Microsoft Power BI. If this configuration was not carried out in the CP-Setup Guide during the setup procedure, select "Activate PowerBI integration" and enter the required parameters.

Please note:

To enable Microsoft Power BI to be configured during the installation of the application server, the Power BI tenant login details are stored. You can obtain this information by setting up a "Power BI Embedded" app in the Azure AD. This app must be linked to the Azure AD. This step requires administrator rights for the Azure AD.

The Power BI tenant login data are entered in CP-Config. You can obtain this information if a "Power BI Embedded" app is set up on the Azure AD. This app must be linked to the Azure AD. This step requires administrator rights for the Azure AD.

In addition to the login details, you will find two prefilters:

In "Workspaces", you can restrict which Power BI workspaces are to be available for the import of Power BI content. Enter the names of the desired workspaces separated by semicolons (;). "myOrg" stands for the virtual private workspace of the current user ("My Workspace").
Power BI distinguishes between reports and dashboards. If one of the content types is not available for import, remove the respective entry from the "Imported objects" field.
