Autocolumn

The "autocolumn" data type is available in all table types and analyses except for the segment report. With the autocolumn, you can create a dynamic column (data stream or analysis row) based on the active time span. If you wish, you can also display aggregated time spans (quarters, thirds, half-years, etc.) and a time span result.

The autocolumn definition settings are grouped under contents and time span. All global options refer to the data stream and currency settings defined for the table type. To make an individual selection, turn off the "Global" switch and select the desired reference for the autocolumn.

Contents

In the contents settings, you can define the column type with the respective settings:

Data stream

For the data stream column type, select the data stream, currency and display mode (values as numbers, bars or numbers and bars). If you wish, you can show existing cell comments, the relative shares and zero columns.

For the analysis row column type, select the desired analysis type and the respective settings for the data stream(s), currency, time shift and display mode. You can show or hide zero columns.

Time span

In the time span settings, you can define the result column to be displayed for the time span, the time step aggregations and the time slider reference.

Result columns

With reference to the active time span, you can display separate result columns for the time span (default), average, initial and last value.

Aggregation forms

With reference to the active time span, you can display individual aggregation columns for months, quarters, thirds, half-years and years. Months are displayed by default.

Time slider reference

To define a time span that varies from the current time slider setting, select "individual" as the aggregation form, and select the desired aggregation columns. You can define a time shift for the "current time span" or a fixed period for the "Start" or "End" time slider reference.
