Documents

   

In the document management view, you can upload documents and web-links to the Web Client and make them available to other users.

 

Please note:

To upload, publish or share documents or links, users require the comprehensive function right "Upload external documents", "Publish external documents" or "Share external documents". These access rights are managed in the CP-Control Center. If you require function rights that you do not have, please contact your Administrator.

 

In the document overview you will find the details of all your private and shared documents and links. With the free text search function, by entering a character string in the search box, you can search for the name of a document or link ("Name" column) and filter the display. In the column menu you can sort a column in ascending or descending order and specify how the individual columns should be displayed.

Depending on your access rights to the item, the following functions are available:

 

Delete document/link

Deletes the element from the Web Client.

 

 

Edit document/link

In the "Edit" dialogue you can change the file name/URL and the name of the item. If this is a private item, this is also where you can publish it.

 

 

Publish document/link

Click the publish symbol to publish a private item. For other users to have access to the item, you will need to share it with them in the share view.

 

 

Upload document

In the "Upload document" dialogue you can upload a document or a link to the Web Client.

 

The following file types are supported for documents:

Select a file or specify a valid link and, if desired, adjust the name. You can then specify whether the item should be public. Click "Upload".
