The share view is for managing all public CP-Suite content. This is where you can define which roles should have read access and/or write access to the public content.
To manage the shares of content, click the "User functions" button in the top right corner of the Web Client portal, and then click "Content sharing".
Setting access rights Click the cells to set read or write access to the desired content for the desired role.
Read access: The content item is displayed in the portal. Its content cannot be changed or saved.
Write access: The content item is displayed in the portal. Changes to its content regarding structure and display can be made and saved. To enter data and comments, however, access rights for the relevant structure are required. These access rights are set in the CP-Control Center.
To set access rights to multiple content items, or to copy access rights between content items, the following options are available in the column header menu:
Setting rights for a role: With the "Rights for role" menu item you can set read or write access to all the listed content. To remove all access rights, select "Reset".
Copying rights to a role: With the "Copy all permissions to" menu item you can copy all the access rights of that role to another role.
Filtering content Set any filters you like for each column by selecting the available content. You can use the search box in the filter to narrow down the filter content.
Searching for content The free text search function searches in the "Data source" and "Name" columns for the character string you entered and then only displays the content items that match. The search is not case-sensitive.
Replicas and snapshots Replicas of tables/reports and snapshots of Reporting Studio projects are listed below the original content. To expand the list, click the "Show replicas/snapshots" button.
