User Settings

   

For an overview of all user-specific information and settings, click the "User functions" button in the top right corner of the Web Client portal, and then click "User settings".

This is where you will find the details of the current user and where you can change the password and define the behaviour of the Web Client.

 

User details

The user details, such as the display name, account name, user account type, email and description are purely informative. These are taken from the CP-Suite and can only be changed there.

 

Under Change language you can set the language in which to display the Web Client. The following languages are available:

English
German
German (Switzerland)
Spanish
Italian
French
Portuguese
Dutch
Chinese
Russian
Serbian

 

 

Changing your password

First, enter your current password in the Old password field. Then enter your new password in the New password field, and enter it again in the Repeat new password field to confirm. Finally, click "Change password" to save your new password.

 

You can also change your password in the login screen.

 

Please note:

When choosing your new password, please bear in mind any password restrictions that may apply!

 

 

More settings

Under More settings you can define the behaviour of the Web Client. For the default settings, click "Reset settings". The following options are available:

 

Show notification dialogue on closing the CP-Suite Web Client:

If this option is selected, you will be prompted to confirm when logging out of the Web Client.

 

Check automatically whether an active server connection exists:

If the connection to the application server (CP-Server) is interrupted, a message to that effect will appear immediately. You will not be able to work in the Web Client until the connection is restored.

 

Please note:

When this option is enabled, a user session will be maintained permanently, even when inactive!

 

Suppress pop-up response when planning if successful

When using a planning function (Top-down/Bottom-up, Planning across Data Streams), notifications are suppressed if the procedure is successful.

 

Suppress pop-up response when planning if an error occurs

When using a planning function (Top-down/Bottom-up, Planning across Data Streams), notifications are suppressed if the procedure fails.

 

Shares: active role selection - by default, to minimize loading time, no roles are selected.

If this option is selected, all roles in the content shares are hidden by default. To display a role, select the role separately in the roles filter of the content share.

 

 

To delete the list of recently opened content in the Web Client portal, click "Reset 'Recently opened'".
