Go to the Data Source Overview and select one or more data sources. All the server-side backups of the selected data sources are listed in the lower pane.
If you select the "Data source management" folder in the hierarchic display, the server-side backups of all the data sources will be listed.
Creating a server-side backup
Select one or more data sources and click "create server-side backup". Enter a description if desired, and click "OK". The procedure may take several minutes, depending on the size of the data sources. During the backup procedure you can still access the data source.
Restoring a server-side backup In the data source overview, select a data source. In the lower pane, all the server-side backups of that data source will be listed.
Select the desired backup and click "restore backup".
In the dialogue which opens, specify whether you wish to restore an existing data source or whether you wish to save the data source with a new name in your folder structure.
Saving a server-side backup locally To save a server-side backup locally, select the desired backup and click "create a local backup copy".
In the dialogue which opens, select the desired directory and click "select folder". The data source will be saved in that directory with the database name and a unique character string consisting of the date and time the backup copy was created (e.g. DemoPlc_20140213154149_Scheduled_Backup.bak).
Deleting a server-side backup To delete a server-side backup, select the backup and click "delete backup".
