Data Input

Please note:

To enter plan values, the current user must be in a role that has write access to the data source and the structure. Section shares are defined in the CP-Control Center.

To enter plan values directly in the table, first select the "Edit" option in the toolbar. The input of plan values is only possible in data fields. Select the desired cell, enter a value and press Enter to confirm. The table reloads automatically and the focus moves to the next cell. Cumulative plan values (e.g. values for a time span, sum columns, etc.) are spread over the respective fields according to the existing distribution.

Updating plan values manually

By default, plan values are updated automatically when they are entered. To prevent this so that you can plan several values without the table reloading every time, turn on the "Load manually" button in the toolbar. The plan values can be updated manually when they have been entered by clicking "Reload".

Planning by copy & paste

You can transfer multiple plan values from Microsoft Excel to the table using the copy & paste function. Copy any row and column values you like and press Ctrl+V to paste them to the desired position in the table. Please note that this is only possible if planning is enabled, i.e. if the "Edit" option is selected in the toolbar. Existing plan values will be overwritten.

Please note:

Before you insert the data, press ESC to exit the edit mode in the cell.
