Content Items

Each content item is displayed as a tile containing general information such as its name, data source and data source type or content type.

The content type is indicated by a symbol:

Private items, which are only visible to the current user, are indicated by the private symbol. Items that are not private are public. Content items that may be edited by the current user are indicated by the pencil symbol.

Click the menu symbol in the top right corner of a tile to open a menu containing functions that depend on the content type and your access rights.

Favourites

You can pin a selected item in a group as a favourite. All favourites are moved to the beginning of the list and are indicated by the favourite symbol. To unpin an item of content, click "Set favourites" again.

Add to folder / Remove from folder

With the "Add to/ remove from folder" function, you can add the selected item to an existing or a new folder, or remove the selected item from a folder.

Delete content

Click "Delete" to delete the selected item. You will be prompted to confirm before the item is deleted irrevocably.

Rename content

To rename an item of content, click "Rename", enter a new name in the input field, and click Save.

Copy content

To copy an item, click "Copy", enter the desired name in the input field and click "Generate copy". Copied content items are automatically created as private content.

Publish private content

To publish a private content item, click "Publish".

Open content link in a new browser tab

This function displays the content in a "new browser tab".

Copy content link

Click "Copy link" to copy the URL of the current content item.

Replicas

In the Web Client Portal, replicas of a report or a table are displayed on the tile for that report or table.

Snapshots

In the Web Client Portal, snapshots of Reporting Studio projects are displayed below the associated project (cf. replicas).
