The Web Client portal is the central overview of all the available content, such as reports, tables, analyses, documents/web links, dashboards and Microsoft Power BI content. This is where each user's private content and the content that has been shared for that user is displayed.
Saving a user-defined view You can define the view and content of your own Web Client portal as you wish by using searches and filters and by grouping the content. To save this view for your next login, click the portal settings button at the bottom right of the portal.
Here you can also reset or reload the saved setting.
Recent items You will find a list of your most recently used items on the left of the portal. Up to 7 items are displayed in chronological order according to when you last opened them. To reset the recently used items, go to the user settings and click "Reset recently opened".
Global time span settings For all content items in your Web Client portal that do not have a fixed time span definition, you can set a global active time span in the time span settings. When you open a content item, the selected time span setting will be applied and the default setting, "Current business year", will be temporarily overwritten.
To set a global time span, click the "Set global time span" button and select a start date and an end date. When you apply the setting, all the affected content items will be adjusted automatically. To delete the time span setting and return to the default setting, "Current business year", click "Reset global time span".
