The Private/Public System

The Corporate Planner Web Client is based on a private/public system, whereby all content items (reports, tables, analyses, documents and dashboards) are classified as private or public objects. Private content is only available to its owner; public content can be shared with any role.

PRIVATE >>> PUBLIC >>> SHARED

When you create new content items, these are always private at first. Private content can be published by the owner if he has the right to do so. To make public content available to other users, these items are distributed to the desired roles in the share view. Each user can see all the content items that have been shared with him in his Web Client portal.
